The Play Catalog page has 156 titles listed now, I know it can be a lot to sort through. So here’s a shortcut, a handful of scripts I think deserve a second look, across a few different categories.
If you need a big cast: Hallam & Douglass the Musical (27 actors) and Building Paradise (22 actors) are both full-length productions built for ensemble casts and big stages.
If you want something timely: Fake News is a ten-minute comedy about misinformation, and Diversity Rock is a charming, ten-actor piece that’s become one of my most-produced short works.
If you’re building a festival lineup: The Complete Ten-Minute Play Festival bundles a full evening of short works into one anthology, and there are more than 20 individual ten-minute plays in the catalog to mix and match.
If you want something quiet and human: Reflections of the Soul and The Lesson are both small-cast dramas that trust the audience to sit with something uncomfortable.
If you’re looking for comedy: Wedding Secrets, Bedlam at Bethlehem, and Masked Dating Game all lean into farce and heart in equal measure.
And there’s more coming, a handful of full-length and ten-minute titles are already listed as “available on New Play Exchange” with cover art still in progress, so keep checking back.
