The Moment Our Eyes Met and Sassy Southern Girl lean into the kind of storytelling you’d expect from someone who spends most of his time writing for the stage—character, moment, a little bit of romance. Fire Eyes (Charleston Burns Hotter) and Jersey In Her Bones take the sound on the road, with each song rooted in a different place and a different kind of energy. And Carolina Moss closes things out with something quieter and more atmospheric.
